Happy Birthday Shahenshah!

The flamboyance of Amitabh Bachchan , and the charisma of Legendary Amit ji has mesmerised us since ages. Amitabh Bachchan is a synonym of wine, getting better with age . No denial to this fact ,we’ve all once tried to Mimic , “Vijay Dhinanth Chauhan”, and we’ve sung “Jhumma Chumma Dey de” in unison just to freshen up the environment. Touted as Shenshah of Bollywood , omnipotent Amit ji is loved by all. Call them fans or devotees we got in touch with such a fan ,who worships Amitabh sir , and has even dedicated a temple to him.Following are stills from the temple, where belongings of Amitabh Bachchan are present.20645417_1957451824529725_4232567773709862459_o20626270_1957451721196402_5034824764166321338_o

Sanjay Patodiya, a Kolkata based man, who not only is a fan of the Mahanayak , but worships him day and night. In a short interview with Mr. Sanjay he said He’s always been touched and moved by Amitabh sir’s journey. He further quoted : “Pehle ye mere Guru they, bus Guru say ye mere Bhagwan ban Gaye” . This true disciple of Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Patodiya established the temple in 2001. To my question of he being the biggest fan of Amitabh Bachchan,he had a heart warming reply “Bhagwan Kay aage koi bhakt chota-badha nahi hota.ha meri bhakti jyada hay Magar Sab kuch na kuch karte hay” He even has an inked impression of Amitabh Bachchan on both of his hands. His favourite Amitabh Bachchan starrer movie is Sharabi, and he firmly believes Sharabi wouldn’t have been a hit, had it not been for Amitabh Bachchan’s exemplary acting skills. Inside the temple is an effigy of Amitabh Bachchan, the only effigy which has once-belonging to Amitabh Bachchan attire, and is placed on a chair, which was used in Amitabh Bachhan starrer blockbuster “Aksh”. Following are some quotes from the temple dedicated to Amitabh Bachchan :

Amitabh Bachchan Fan Association work as social activist as well. They consider 2nd August as “Re-birth’’ of Big-B as Amit ji was critically injured due to a mistimed jump in a fight scene for Coolie. He went into a “haze and coma-like situation” and was “clinically dead for a couple of minutes”. Thus to celebrate this miraculous recovery , they set up a blood donation camp in the temple itself. Their motive is to serve the people considering the temple to be a big umbrella where everyone is welcome to get shelter.

“Wo sirf star nai duniya hay meri”
